Interested in learning more about international health opportunities?  Visit the AMSA (American Medical Student Association)'s International Health Opportunities Directory.  As the website confirms, the directory is "a tool for information on global health programs and organizations for worldwide discovery and services."  It includes opportunities, such as volunteering, internships, and coursework, both in the U.S. and abroad.  Organizations to consider:

Consider applying for the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) Health Assistant position this summer. We're more books than bug bites and algebra than archery, but our students have the time of their lives in both engaging classes and exciting social activities. They come for the classwork, but fall in love with our beautiful college campus settings, our energetic staff, and their new best friends. Our staff retention rate is robust, and we provide competitive pay plus room and board. Health Assistants must be at least 21 (for insurance purposes) and have a good driving record as they are required to drive site vehicles.  CTY offers the Health Assistant position at sites in CA, MD, VA, RI, PA, NJ, and NY
