Fall 2021 Writing Coaching

Welcome to Fall 2021!  The Writing Center will continue to provide Writing Coaching for Graduate School-Newark students this Fall. Whether you need support in organization, research, or sentence clarity, you can work with a Writing Coach. We will also be running several workshops this semester. Topics, dates, and times to be announced.

Writing Coaching will be available from Monday, September 13, 2021 through Friday, December 17, 2021. 

To make an appointment, please email marneb@newark.rutgers.edu with the subject line GRADUATE WRITING COACHING REQUESTED. Please include your phone number, your preferred meeting type (zoom or email), and your preferred date and time.  Appointments will be scheduled during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, from 9am to 5pm.

Coaching session dates/times will be at the following times:

WRITING WORKSHOPS - FALL 2021

The Writing Center will be offering a series of free writing workshops this fall for Graduate Students. (Please see below.) If you are interested, please go to your Canvas site (Graduate Writing Coaching) , scroll down until you see the list of workshops, and click on the RSVP link. This will bring you to a registration form which will provide you with the link to join the workshop remotely. We look forward to seeing you this fall!

This workshop will focus on navigating academic writing on the graduate level: honing your argument, organizing your research, and following academic conventions.
