How can local communities, universities, and government officials in New Jersey work together to ensure that President Biden’s Green New Deal and climate change initiatives will benefit our region? And what can we do to ensure that such benefits are just and equitable, especially for disadvantaged frontline communities?

Our New Green Deal is a series of virtual work sessions focused on forging an environmentally equitable Green New Deal and a just transition in the climate change era. The overall goal of these sessions is to support and build on the Justice 40 Recommendations, which focus on ensuring that any federal funds benefit disadvantaged frontline communities in New Jersey.
