Lunar New Year Dishes with Chef Coco Kim

For Lunar New Year, alumna Coco Kim ('12) shared how to make her family's favorite dish, Tteok Mandu Guk (Korean Rice Cake Soup with Dumplings).

Kim, who graduated from Rutgers-Newark with a BFA in Graphic Design in 2012, later went on to pursue her dream of becoming a chef. In 2019 she was scouted for an episode of Food Network's "Chopped" (S4E10) while working at Huertas, a Spanish restaurant in New York City's East Village. 

We checked in with her to learn more about the professional and community focused work she's taken part in after the show and in the wake of COVID-19.
