Please join the Department of Urban Education at Rutgers University-Newark for its upcoming open house on Saturday, September 30th from 3:00 — 5:00 PM.
The event will include the reveal of a new mural by local Newark artist Layqa Nuna Yawar, the launch of a photovoice exhibit on experiences of teachers of color, a painting on Hope & Joy in Urban Education by SASN Dean Jacqueline Mattis, and remarks from department colleagues and partners.
