Graduate Program in Neuroscience

Program overview

Students in the Graduate Program in Neuroscience (GPN) perform original research, culminating in a Ph.D. in neuroscience. The program is hosted by the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University in Newark.

Research in our program spans every level of brain function - from molecules to behavior to computation - and students have available to them the full gamut of cutting-edge techniques and approaches. 

All students receive tuition and a generous stipend, regardless of nationality, and additional fellowships are available.
