Part-Time Programs

  • A part-time student is enrolled for fewer than 12 course credits in one semester.

  • Applicants for part-time study complete the same application as applicants for full-time study.

  • Applicants for part-time study will submit the same required credentials based on applicant status as either a first-year or transfer applicant.

  • To be admitted as a part-time student, applicants must meet the same admissions requirements as full-time applicants.

Another great opportunity for non-matriculating students as well as current students are RU-N's Winter and Summer Sessions. Find more info about them below.

With an accelerated meeting schedule, the Winter Session offers students the opportunity to take advantage of smaller class sizes, a convenient location, and flexible course schedules. Attending a winter course offers students the ideal opportunity to accelerate time to graduation, improve their GPA, explore a subject of interest, or reduce next semester’s course work. The winter allows students to focus on a single subject matter, empowering students to master the material, a feat impossible during the academic year.
