Graduate Programs

The Graduate School–Newark offers students a variety of advanced Arts & Sciences degrees, from the M.F.A. to the Ph.D. Many of its courses are designed and taught by members of the School of Arts & Sciences-Newark. Students interested in an interdisciplinary focus can choose the Liberal Studies M.A., which offers students the opportunity to create their own curriculum, and the Women’s Studies concentration, which permits students from different disciplines to focus on gender-related issues and theories.
