Psychology offers three major programs that allow student to pursue their specific interests in mental processes and behavior.  The major in Psychology provides students with a broad theoretical and empirical foundation through courses that address topics ranging from the dynamics of individual and group behavior to the processes contributing to human development to the nature of thought and reasoning.  Our Neuroscience and Behavior major focuses on the relation between neural and mental processes, addressing topics such as the neural underpinnings of emotion, reasoning, and learning.  Our dual major in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Psychology, a partner program with the School of Health Professions, provides students with both a strong grounding in psychology as well as clinical training to work with individuals who have psychological disorders.
