Admission requirements

Prospective students should submit their official college or university  transcripts, GRE scores (optional), three letters of recommendation, a curriculum vitae or resume, and a personal statement as part of their application. 

The personal statement should describe your educational background, relevant personal, professional, and volunteer experiences and explain why you would like to pursue graduate studies in Political Science.

As a rule, the department requires a GPA of over 3.00 for Masters students. International students are required to show a strong command of the English language appropriate for graduate study.

The Department of Political Science will accept non-degree students.

 

Application deadlines:

  • March 1: Fall admission for non-US students
  • May 1:  Fall admission for US students
  • November 1: Spring admission for non-US students
  • December 1: Spring Admission for US students
