Advanced Imaging Core Facility

Welcome to the Department of Biological Sciences Advanced Imaging Core Facility.  Our facility serves the cell biology and biomedical research community of Rutgers University-Newark, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and Rutgers Behavioral and Health Sciences – New Jersey Medical School.  Our facility also provides service to the research needs of the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry in the greater Northeast.  The workhorse instruments include multiple confocal microscopes, multiple epifluorescence microscopes, and a transmission electron microscope.  Support facilities include specimen preparation lab for electron microscopy samples, ultramicrotomes, computer workstations, and capacity of archival data storage.  Again, welcome to the AICF and let’s start imaging.
