Emanuele Cacciatore received an MFA (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a BFA in painting from the University of Buffalo. He has been a Part-Time Lecturer in the ACM Department for over eleven years and teaches courses in Design, Drawing, Photography, and Art History. His students explore a wide range of materials and diverse methods of visual communication and experimentation. Professor Cacciatore also periodically teaches various Design courses in New York City.
Emanuele has exhibited his paintings extensively with shows in both Europe and the United States including the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and Hallwalls Gallery in Buffalo, New York; The Montclair Art Museum and New Jersey State Museum in Trenton, New Jersey; The Contemporary Arts Forum in Santa Barbara, California; and galleries in New York City, Buffalo, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Miami; and Paris, France. He is the recipient of the Armand Hammer Award in Visual Art from the Los Angeles Arts Council and has had monoprints published by Garner Tullis in New York City and Santa Barbara. Emanuele’s work has been reviewed in Art News Magazine, The Santa Barbara Independent, and other regional art publications as well.
