Christopher Adam Mitchell is currently working on an economic history of LGBT life from 1945 to 1980 entitled From Gay Ghetto to Free Territory. He earned his PhD in history from Rutgers, teaches courses on
gender/sexuality studies and history, and lives in Ridgewood, Queens.
