
Chazz Fellenz is the Assistant Dean for Pre-Professional Services in the Office of Academic Services. He has been working with Rutgers University-Newark since 2014. Dean Fellenz is dedicated to guiding and helping his students reach optimal success.
In addition to campus wide advising, Dean Fellenz gives special advising for students interested in Pre-Engineering, Pre-Health, BA/MD (NJMS) and many others who have the intent of pursuing a professional program. Additionally, he works with and advises many other sub-groups including but not limited to: the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (M.A.P.S), Project Dental All (PDA), the Health Professions Learning Community (HPLC), and many more.
Outside of his role within the Office of Academic Services, Dean Fellenz is very involved in the Rutgers Newark community. He not only serves as a Rutgers University Senator, but has been involved in many campus wide initiatives such as the Gateway to Completion steering committee for Physics, the School of Arts and Science-Newark (SASN) website redesign team, planning committee for major/minors fair, planning committee for SASN’s Open House and Admitted Student Day, planning committee for Advisors Matter, Student Life and Leadership: Student Awards Committee, and the working group for RU-N Staff Council.
